I went to see a reflexologist yesterday as I suffer from bad migraine. She advised I would benefit greatly from taking Serrapeptase tablets. Please could you advise me if they are safe for me to take as I have a angioma on the back of my brain on the right side. I also have a aneurysm in the carotid artery on the right side of my neck. I am worried in case the tablets can effect these malformations. I have had the malformations since birth and I am now 50 years. I have suffered from migraines for 30years. I have also had breast cancer 3 years ago which I am checked yearly for.

Can this also help varicose veins? A friend just gave me 10 caps to give to my German shepherd who has injured his cartilage-his hips are okay

I am a Naturopath. I was very interested reading of your experiences. I read  Dr. Neipers papers years ago and found his experiences interesting as well. Before suggesting your serrapeptase to patients I would like to know which (capsules or tablets) are more effective for use with arteriosclerosis and why.

While a numberof my patients suffer severe blockages they are symptom free. Some have had MRI scans and others ultrasound.

For non-symptomatic patients how do you keep track of their progress.

What is Serrapeptase?

What does it do?

What happens to the residue?

Has it any side effects or can I take too many?

Why can it benefit so many different conditions?

Can I use it for any condition, even those not listed?

Can Serrapeptase be used effectively with young children's (age 1.5-4 years) coughs, runny noses and mucus in the lungs and nasal passages. You recommend that no dairy or starch products should be consumed, but milk is still very predominant in their diet?

Can it be taken with other medication and do I need to inform my Doctor?

I wanted to know if Serrapeptase clears external scar tissue?

As it is 2 years post-op, I do not have pain.  Maybe a burning sensation if the scar tissue is massaged, but that's about it.  Do you still think Serrapeptase is effective as the scar tissue is this old?  And if so, what doses should I be taking and how often?

Will this conflict with any drugs I am taking or cause my blood to become to thin?

Where can I purchase Serrapeptase?  Can it be purchased in Australia?  If not can it be imported into Australia?

Will this help Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Where can I get a Serrapeptase by Mail Order that doesn't have additives?  I don't want all the non-essential ingredients like: maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, magnesium state, titanium dioxide?

My research indicates that Serrapeptase is destroyed by stomach acid and therefore needs to be enteric-coated. Do you have research that shows otherwise?

If the tablets are enteric coated, does it not destroy that coating to chew the tablets - e.g. in the case of a child?

I have osteo-arthritis. I am taking Vioxx, 25mg, daily for inflammation. Also taking 1500mg Glucosamine, 1200mg Chondroitin, and 3gm MSM, will Serrapeptase help?

“I have a client in Portugal who takes medication for high blood pressure and also a prescription HRT; she would like to come off of both and is interested in taking Serrapeptase.  At present we are still discussing her options and I have expressed my opinion, which is that she should not stop taking her prescription drugs. Am I correct in thinking that with diet improvement, vitamin and mineral supplements her health may improve, perhaps to the point where she may not need to take the prescribed drugs? I do not intend to make any promises but feel the improvements in diet etc. would improve her overall health anyway.”

Hi, I have purchased your book along with 4 bottles of the extra-strength Serrazyme capsules, but am confused about how much to take. For example, if the book recommends 3 tabs/3x per day, do I take 1 1/2 capsule/2x per day?

I previously had 3 knee operations around 15 years ago and had a 9" scar around my knee. I have had a total knee replacement a year ago.  I have a lot of scar tissue. It is sticking and causing pain. I am having problems walking, straightening and bending my knee properly as a result.

I have recently begun a supplement program which includes 140 mg of Serrapeptase daily. This seems close to your max dosage of 150 mg for, for example, acute trauma. Is it safe to take 140 mg daily indefinitely? If not, what would you recommend as a max daily dose? Does serrapeptase have blood thinning properties?

Are you aware of any benefits reported through use of Serrapeptase with respect to the treatment of PKD (polysystic kidney disease)??

Are you sure Serrapeptase is safe for cystic fibrosis ?

She is correct. The tablets will only stop the inflammation, clear any fatty deposits and stop the blood running too thick (which is good for your problem). You must stop eating starchy carbs and replace them with more veggies and dark skinned fruits such as cherries, berries etc. These will produce more collagen to strengthen the walls of your arteries as well as being anti cancer (unlike starchy carbs which are pro cancer. I recommend (and eat myself) 14 portions per day as a minimum.

Tablets or capsules of serrapeptase with the same activity of international units (iu) that are both enteric coated work are the same and it is just a preference.

There is a more powerful nattokinase  formulation BlockBuster for arteriosclerosis see this and others at my web sites. I also strongly recommend L-arginine at the same time.

The results are easy to quantify using an arterial stiffness index indicator (ASI). The other choice is a Heart Rate Variability (HRV) screen.

These devices cost around £3000.00. ASI is the easiest to use but is specific to arterial diseases as opposed to HRV which is also used for many different diseases.

(1) Do all of the products (tablets & capsules) with Serrapeptase have enteric coating on the Serrapeptase?  e.g. SerraZyme, Serra Plus and Blockbuster AllClear.  You have said that it increases to double the amount of Serrapeptase useable to the body.

All are enteric coated except Serrazyme Capsules.

(2) However seeing that this is so much more than the 5mg tablets that the tests were done on (2 X 5mg three times daily) maybe it is OK to lose about half of the strength to the stomach acid?

I have found (and my wife with her varicose veins has) that although some people can get results with the lower dose the majority of people will get great results with the highest dose. If we asked users to try the lower dose first they may lose heart and miss an opportunity, therefore we say start high and reduce as and when you get relief.

(3) Is the enteric coating on the SerraZyme/SerraEzyme in the Capsules made of Silicon dioxide and brown rice?

If not what is it made of?   Acetate Pthalate, Stearic Acid, Diethyl Pthalate, Croscarmellose Sodium

(5 )Why are there so many excipients/additives in the Blockbuster?

I am reticent to use it myself or prescribe to clients because I prefer a pure product. There is only Organic Brown Rice Powder and Silicone Dioxide. The rest is the enteric coating above.

(6) Is there any reason you did not put Bromelain in this product?

Bromelain is a cheap weak Protease. This is the reason you never see the units of activity stated on bottles.

(7) Generation Plus say that their Zymitol and Serralone is without additives.  Do you believe this?

No. Anyone in the capsule filling business will tell you that excipients are needed for the filling process. The  main difference they try to claim Enteric coating is not needed is because it doubles to manufacturing process. If it wasn't needed we would save a packet and lower the prices even further compared to Generation+

(8) Since eating a totally raw unheated organic diet (not vegetarian) and giving up the many varied supplements 2 years ago I have felt stronger and more energy (before I was mainly vegetarian with huge amounts of raw fruit and raw vegetables).  So when I do take a supplement I would prefer it to be as pure as possible. Both of my parents died in their early 60's. This alerted me to the fact that I was from genetically weak stock. I changed my diet and have regular tests for Homocysteine and C-Reactive protein as well as a few other important biochemical markers. I leave nothing to chance on me or our customers. At 59 years of age I look and feel great (my wife tells me).

What is Serrapeptase?

Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the micro-organism, Serratia E15. This enzyme is naturally present in the silkworm intestine and is processed commercially today through fermentation. This immunologically active enzyme is completely bound to the alpha 2 macroglobulin in biological fluids. Histological studies reveal powerful anti-inflammatory effects of this naturally occurring enzyme.

back to the start > >

What does it do?

Serrapeptase digests (dissolves) non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts, and arterial plaque and inflammation in all forms.

back to the start > >

What happens to the residue?

This is mainly converted to basic amino acids and is usefully recycled into the body. Any other residue is excreted in the usual manner.

back to the start > >

Has it any side effects or can I take too many?

No side effects have been found in over 25 years of studies and usage. Many people take very high doses to speed-up the relief e.g. in cases of sports injuries which can be as high as 30 per day with no side effects whatsoever except a faster recovery. It is even safe for children of 2 years+ for a wide range of conditions: (asthma, lung problems, arthritis, etc).

back to the start > >

Why can it benefit so many different conditions?

Although Serrapeptase simply digests dead and inflamed tissue these two problems are the cause of the majority of symptoms in the body. The wide range of conditions that respond to Serrapeptase include:

- Varicose Veins and other circulatory problems
- Pain problems such as, Arthritis, Joints, and Muscles Pains and even MS.
-

Lung Diseases such as Emphysema, Asthma, Bronchitis and Bronchiectasis

- Sinus and other ENT problems
-

Post Operative Healing, Lesions and Cysts (breast, ovarian etc)

-

Arterial Plaque, DVT (good for travellers) and Blood Clots

- Migraines (vascular).
-

Enlarged Prostate and many more (please see Serrapeptase book for references to the studies )

back to the start > >

Can I use it for any condition, even those not listed?

It is worth a try for practically anything. If you have great discomfort it is worth taking a high dose for one week which should give great relief.

Can Serrapeptase be used effectively with young children's (age 1.5-4 years) coughs, runny noses and mucus in the lungs and nasal passages. You recommend that no dairy or starch products should be consumed, but milk is still very predominant in their diet

Serrapeptase is very good for children.

Milk and starchy carbohydrates (starchy carbohydrates: breads, pastry, biscuits, breakfast cereals, potatoes, rice and pasta) are not good for anyone. These all contain too much glucose and mycotoxins, creating glycation and chronic inflammation) not good for any person and especially not children. Good foods are: Vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and beans especially sprouted), fish and meats. All food should be very lightly cooked or raw. Rice should be brown rice or better still sprouted rice (rice sprouts). For children, soups or blending the foods make it easier to digest.

back to the start > >

What is the Clinical usage of Serrapeptase in children, with dosage precautions and other relevant clinical information?

It can be safely used with children. I recommend 1-3 tablets per day for children. If they cannot swallow the tablets, they can chew the tablet as it does not have any taste. (also capsules that can be broken open and mixed with honey). In fact a sore throat can be cleared in about 30 minutes by chewing 1-2 tablets. Our grandchildren use it when they get mucus problems from colds, with fast results.

back to the start > >

Can it be used on animals such as cat and dogs?

Yes it has proven to be very effective on all animals. Many veterinarians are now prescribing it as well as arthritic pet owners sharing their own bottle with their arthritic dog to great effect. (read the testimonies)

Is there any animal product in your product?

No. They are plant grown enzymes.

back to the start > >

You say suitable for vegetarians, yet I read right this comes from a silkworm? Does it or does it not?

It is produced by a bacteria grown in beans that was originally noticed over 30 years ago being used by the silkworm in its cocoon to dissolve proteins. They are actually plant grown enzymes.

back to the start > >

I can understand internal scars (lesions and adhesions) but what about external scarring, how can it help this?

It will still work on surface scarring just as it will on diabetic ulcers and the similar problems. By continually digesting the scar tissue, healthy tissue will eventually replace the old scar. It may not complete eradicate all of the scarring but the worse the scarring the better the visual benefits.

back to the start > >

Can it be taken with other medication and do I need to inform my Doctor?

Yes it can be taken with any medication and may mean that you will be able to stop taking them.

back to the start > >

I wanted to know if Serrapeptase clears external scar tissue.

Yes, but it is a slower process compared to internal scars. The scar will be flatter, but may not usually disappear completely without Rio Rosa Mosqueta Oil.

I have abdominal scar tissue 2 years after a lipoplasty procedure.  I heard that Serrapeptase could help "dissolve" internal scar tissue.  Is there any truth to this?

Yes it is a very effective and safe solution. It will take about 3 weeks to get rid of the discomfort and a further 3-6 weeks to make sure it they are completely clear.

back to the start > >

As it is 2 years post-op, I do not have pain.  Maybe a burning sensation if the scar tissue is massaged, but that's about it.  Do you still think Serrapeptase is effective as the scar tissue is this old?  And if so, what doses should I be taking and how often?

It really depends upon your finances. I always recommend 3 x 3 to start with and then reduce each week as the symptoms reduce. When symptoms are gone take the lowest dose 1 x 2 per day.

Will this conflict with any drugs I am taking or cause my blood to become to thin?”

There are many opinions about what to take with what and what is a so called 'blood thinner'.

Firstly Aspirin is NOT a blood thinner such as Warfarin. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory as are all proteolytic enzymes. They cause the blood to flow normally, not thinner than normal by stopping the inflammation in the blood stream that causes blood clotting.

The prime cause of western diseases is now considered to be chronic inflammation caused by eating starchy carbohydrates, processed, micro-waved and generally overcooked foods. This is measured by the rise in C-Reactive proteins after eating such foods. When we have chronic inflammation as well as free radical damage, we get what is known as sticky blood, where the platelets stick together and can clot.

Where can I purchase Serrapeptase?  Can it be purchased in Australia?  If not can it be imported into Australia?

It cannot be purchased directly in Australia, but can be bought on-line and imported for private use.

Will this help Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Serrapeptase will remove dead tissue and inflammation from the digestive tract, thereby relieving the symptoms. There are, however a number of causes of IBS and for example some people benefit from hypnotherapy. Follow the plan in the Serrapeptase book for best results.

back to the start > >

Where can I get a Serrapeptase by Mail Order that doesn't have additives?  I don't want all the non-essential ingredients like: maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, magnesium state, titanium dioxide?

It is not available anywhere without them. These are commonly used to make supplements and I have looked at all of the studies and am I sure of the essential reason for them being there.

back to the start > >

No, I recommend enteric-coated tablets and enteric-coated granules in capsules for the best delivery.

back to the start > >

If the tablets are enteric coated, does it not destroy that coating to chew the tablets - e.g. in the case of a child?

Well spotted, nobody else has asked this question. The answer is that some will be absorbed in the mouth, some will inactivated by the stomach, some will absorb in the throat, and some will get through into the small intestine.   Enough will get through to do the job and especially in a child. It has worked twice on me to get rid of a sore throat in around 30 minutes

I have osteo-arthritis. I am taking Vioxx, 25mg, daily for inflammation. Also taking 1500mg Glucosamine, 1200mg Chondroitin, and 3gm MSM, will Serrapeptase help?

Serrapeptase is extremely effective in removing the inflammation, without the side effects associated with drugs. Once the inflammation has gone then the body's own recovery systems can then start to rebuild, with the help of Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM and collagen.

The benefits with Serrapeptase will come for the high blood pressure. With the diet changes you are planning she should see a steady improvement. If she wishes to keep to a low dose for the future is highly recommended. The HRT is a different story and natural progesterone and natural estrogens may be needed to replace the HRT.

Why do doctors not prescribe Serrapeptase if it is so good?

They do, in the better medical systems such as Germany and other countries with superior results compared to the UK and the USA. They have prescribed it for the last 25 years.

How does Serrapeptase help sinuitis?

Serrapeptase has many studies showing that it helps the sinus in two ways. The first is to stop the inflammation that stimulates the mucus and the second is to clear out the mucus completely. It usually does this within hours or at most a day or so. As it is a simple enzyme it has no side effects whatsoever.

My son has Crohn’s Disease, he is 10 years old can he take these tablets and how many?

back to the start > >

Are there any human studies showing the effectiveness of breaking down biofilm in the bladder to kill antibiotic resistant bacteria?

The Serrapeptase will not affect the Biofilm directly.  It will however stop the inflammation that partly provides the breeding tissue for bacteria (and virus).  If you follow the microbiologists who agree that 'the terrain is everything and the germ is nothing' concept then you will agree that properly oxygenated tissue/cells at the correct ph with no inflammation will not allow germs to thrive. Serrapeptase delivers one of those criteria, anti-inflammatory, (and may influence the ph). The most studies have been seen in lung infections and some ENT. Anecdotal reports say that cystitis is cleared quickly as well as diabetic ulcers.

My prescription for this problem would be Serrapeptase, Curcumin98 and 8 glasses of oxygenated water

I am primarily concerned with whatever cardio-vascular benefits might be experienced with the use of Serrapeptase.  Is the evidence supporting Serrapeptase very preliminary, or is it fairly solid, that shows benefit for arterioscleroses?

You will not find any conclusive evidence of the effectiveness of Serrapeptase. The information around is simply the reports coming in from users and doctors who are witnessing the results. As it is obviously safe no one feels the need to subject it to expensive trials.

Serrapeptase works in the same way that aspirin works i.e. it is an anti-inflammatory. Cardiovascular diseases are in the main caused by chronic inflammation and anything that reduces this inflammation will help clear the arteries. Even simply stopping eating starchy carbohydrates, overcooked or microwave and processed foods will start the process of recovery (presuming you replaced those with vegetables and fruits).

The benefit with Serrapeptase as well as being an anti-inflammatory is that it is also a very strong protease. This dissolves the dead proteins that bind the plaque blocking the arteries.

The reports come in daily of the many different successes. I take it myself just as an anti-ageing product (it is thought that premature ageing is the result of this same chronic inflammation).

back to the start > >

My granddad is diabetic but would like to try this product for a number of things listed. Can he take this medication with being diabetic? and what ingredients are used to make Serrapeptase please?

Yes he can take it as a diabetic and with the drugs he is taking. The contents are just Serrapeptase enzymes. Reports for diabetes users tell of balanced blood sugars but I cannot tell if it is the Serrapeptase or the fact they are cutting back on starchy carbohydrates.

My husband has a condition called polycythemia (blood is too thick) and has to have a phlebotomy approx. every 3 months to keep his blood thin.  He also has had a couple of mini strokes and is on a full aspirin a day and 11 mg. of Coumadin daily for these conditions.  He takes another medication called hydroxyurea which is a chemo drug to keep his white platelet count down.  Is it safe for him to take this enzyme to keep any further blood clots from developing?  I already take Serrapeptase for cardiovascular problems.

Yes it is safe for him. I would like to offer some other advice if I may.

While there may be a genetic reason for his condition factors that will make it worse are invariably common to many diseases. It is now thought that the cause of diseases is chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation results in thick blood. Two biochemical markers of chronic inflammation, C - reactive protein and Homocysteine (tests are available for these) are also markers for all of the main diseases (including yours). Your goal is to normalize everything without drugs.

How can you stop it? My advice is to go back to basics and follow the 'Garden of Eden Diet' and take some nutrients.

Eating 90% fresh living vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, beans and a small amount of natural fish and meats (this means fish and meats that have only eaten natural foods e.g. cows that have only eaten grass and herbs etc NOT grains and cereals). Where possible, eat at least 50% of your foods raw or very lightly cooked. Chewing foods 25 times is critical. If unable to chew then blended is next best.

Stopping eating (as much as possible) grains and cereals such as breads, pastry, biscuits, breakfast cereals, rice, potato products, microwave foods, irradiated foods, factory processed or prepared foods. Read more on the attached plan in the Serrapeptase Book.

Who makes this product?

The enzyme Serrapeptase is grown in Japan and a processor in Texas makes it into tablets and capsules

Is serrapeptase effective for periodontal disease and gum abscesses?

Absolutely.

1. Chew very slowly, SerraZyme tablets 3 per day. (To clear the abscess.)

2. Take 2 ProdohilusFOS capsules twice per day mixed in with natural yoghurt or mashed veggies. Chew slowly. (to stop mouth infections)

3. Take 2 Q-Gel capsules daily with food. (to recover healthy gums).

The recovery should take about 2-4 weeks.

I do believe however that they are almost the same problem, that is the upsetting of the hormonal system caused by eating starchy carbohydrates. These are implicated in the majority of diseases. Taking Serrapeptase, nutritional supplements alongside a good nutritional program outlined on the web below or my book is I believe the perfect way to good health.

What successes have there been with cysts and adhesions on the ovaries?

I can absolutely confirm that it will give fabulous results with 4-6 weeks. This is a common problem that it is used for. Take 3 x 3 on an empty stomach and reduce as symptom go.

If the results tabulated are so beneficial to sufferers, why is this product so little known?

Serrapeptase is the best kept secret because the drug industry do not like non patented natural competitors to their high priced drugs.

You may not know this but this enzyme is available on prescription in Germany and Austria which both have much better medical care systems compared to the UK. Another book of mine has publicized Lutein Spray that has been reversing Macular degeneration for the past 8 years in the USA. Since the publicity from my book doctors here have now started prescribing it. It should happen to Serrapeptase before long.

My mother has Alzheimer's and I wonder if this would help her?

I have no feedback on Serrapeptase and Alzheimer's as yet. The good news it that there are other things to do such as:
  • Stop all starchy carbs and replace with vegetables and fruits.
  • Increase fats such as fish oils
Take supplements such as:
  • Curcumin98
  • Vit E 2000iu per day
  • Gingko Biloba
  • AP Formula

I had a heart attack almost three weeks ago.  At present I am taking a blood thinner and something to regulate my heart beats.  Can I take Serrapeptase and stop with all other medicines?

Good question. Your Doctor can only answer it one way because they have to cover their backs and they do that by following the book (written by the drug companies).

The real solution is in your hands. Serrapeptase is part of the solution, the rest is stopping eating foods that are causing the inflammation in your blood stream that also causes your blood to coagulate. You do not need to guess whether to stop drugs. You can decide using a simple test meter http://www.coaguchek.com/ that checks the coagulation of your blood (similar to the blood glucose test devices). I also strongly recommend the action plan in my Serrapeptase book. When your blood is healthy, you can decide whether to stop taking the drugs.

I had a triple bypass 5 years ago and everything seems o.k. Get a bi tout of breath though. Would Serrapeptase help to get rid of the blocking in the arteries which have been bypassed?

Like many people, you may have been misled by the medical system who indicate that the bypass is a successful operation for many people. The fact is that only a few get success. In any case it is only giving a small section of artery relief and it is not clearing the main problem. Many people still cannot easily walk uphill afterwards.

The sensible solution is to follow a plan that will clear up the whole problem and leave you healthy. This is the plan that is in my new book and which I thoroughly recommend. Serrapeptase is one of the important steps and the others highly recommended.

Hi, I have purchased your book along with 4 bottles of the extra-strength Serrazyme capsules, but am confused about how much to take. For example, if the book recommends 3 tabs/3x per day, do I take 1 1/2 capsule/2x per day?  Thanks

Sorry for the confusion but their are no hard answers. It depends upon the person, the severity of the condition and the food intake.

The best way is to take the highest dose you are comfortable with and then reduce it as the problem clears to the minimum that keeps it clear.

I previously had 3 knee operations around 15 years ago and had a 9" scar around my knee. I have had a total knee replacement a year ago.  I have a lot of scar tissue. It is sticking and causing pain. I am having problems walking, straightening and bending my knee properly as a result.

Q1 Will Serrapeptase help the scarring? Yes.

Q2.  As Serrapeptase attacks non-living material, just what will happen to the surgical glue used to glue the joint into the bones during the operation? Nothing, it is not non-vital protein.

Q3. Will the Serrapeptase cause short-term or long- term damage to the replacement knee joint? No.

Q4. Has this issue been studied? Only from the point of view of no side effects have been reported in the millions of doses over the past 30 years and it has been used for improving post operative success in joint replacement with no problems reported.

Lets talk in terms of IU International Units instead of Mg.

A tablet or capsule may be 5000IU, 10,000IU, 20,000IU or 40,000IU

There is no real upper limit other than you may get stomach ache. I recommend an upper limit of 9 of the 40,000IU daily daily. This is only because I have not observed any better result in excess of this.

Does it thin the blood?
No it does NOT thin the blood. It makes it healthier by stopping the chronic inflammation that is the cause of our health problems. You need to read my book on Serrapeptase to get a full understanding.

A long term maintenance dose need only be 2 or 4 @ 40,000IU daily.

Are you aware of any benefits reported through use of Serrapeptase with respect to the treatment of PKD (polysystic kidney disease)??

I do not have any feedback on kidney cysts but I am sure that there will be a definite benefit as there is with PCOs and other cysts. My own sister-in-law cleared her PCOs and you have nothing to lose by trying. A couple of months should see a definite benefit

Are you sure serrapeptase is safe for cystic fibrosis ?

There was one report out of the millions of doses taken worldwide that claimed a Japanese persons lung infection was due to the Serrapeptase.  This was illogical for a number of reasons. 1. The Serrapeptase has had studies to show that it reduces infections. 2. Studies show that it speeds up the effect of antibiotics. 3. This report was not studied nor was a scientific explanation give. 4. It could simply have been coincidence. 5. It is used as a primary treatment for lung diseases by many and a direct cause would have revealed itself in the last 30 years.

After saying all that. By taking the Curcumin which is a powerful anti viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal not to mention anti-inflammatory and stimulator of glutathione (one of the critical antioxidants for the lungs) even if their had been the slightest chance of infection then this would stop that dead.
