Runny nose/ Rhinitis

What is it?

Rhinitis means an inflammation of the nose or more commonly now as a runny nose. The discharge from the nose can come through the front of the nose or it can drain through the back of the nose, a condition that we call post-nasal drip.

What causes it?
Various factors including:

-

Allergies, frequently produces a runny nose. In these cases the discharge will be clear or occasionally white.

-

Infection also causes nasal discharge, and this will be a purulent discharge most commonly collared yellow or green.

-

Irritation to the nose can also cause discharge. This discharge is most commonly clear or white and many people when exposed to nasal irritants experience it.

-

Many individuals exposed to cold air or to smoke will have nasal discharge and this is an Irritative Rhinitis.

How can Serrapeptase Help?

Serrapeptase helps immensely as it clears out all of the inflammation and mucus. By clearing away this problem inflammation and tissue it enables the bodies own immune system to deal more easily with irritation.

How many do I take?

Start with 3 Tablets of Serrapeptase x 3 times per day on an empty stomach and increase it to 4 x 3 if no relief with 7 days. Then gradually reduce to 1 x 1.

Can I take too many tablets or can it interfere with any drugs?

No. It has been used for over 25 years with no side effects reported.

What things can I do to help Rhinitis?

1. Serrapeptase Enzymes
Start with 2 Tablets of Serrapeptase per hour until it clears. Then gradually reduce to 1 per day

2. Basic Health Plan

Using the Basic Health Plan will ensure appropriate nutrients and actions are taken to help the healing process

Sore Throats

Sore throat, are also known as pharyngitis, is a painful inflammation of the mucous membranes lining the pharynx. It is a symptom of many conditions, but most often is associated with colds or influenza. Sore throat may be caused by either viral or bacterial infections or environmental conditions. Most sore throats heal without complications, but they should not be ignored because some develop into serious illnesses.

What things can I do to help with Sore Throats?

1. Serrapeptase Enzymes

Take one tablet or capsule every hour on an empty stomach. At the same time chew a Serrapeptase tablet or, if capsules, break open and mix with honey and let it trickle down the throat very slowly. I personally have used this protocol and have never had to go more than one hour before it was gone.

Swollen Glands

Also known as "Swollen lymph nodes" and "Swollen lymph glands", it to enlargement of one or more lymph nodes. In a child, a node is enlarged if it is larger than one centimeter (0.4 inch) in diameter

Causes

Infections that commonly cause swollen lymph nodes include mononucleosis, German measles, tuberculosis, mumps, ear infection, tonsillitis, abscessed or impacted tooth, gingivitis (swelling of the gums), mouth sores, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Immune or autoimmune disorders that can cause swollen lymph nodes include rheumatoid arthritis and HIV. Cancers that can cause swollen glands include leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Swollen lymph nodes may also be caused by some medications (like phenytoin for seizures) or certain vaccinations (namely, typhoid)

Laryngitis is an inflammation in the vocal cords in the larynx, has many causes. The larnyx is the organ of voice in mammals. It is commonly known as the voice box. Laryngitis is rarely serious. It usually last less than 7 days.

The larynx is a tubular chamber about 2 inches (5 cm) high. It consists of walls of cartilage bound by ligaments and membranes, and moved by muscles.
