My mother has Alzheimer's and I wonder if this would help her?

I have no feedback on Serrapeptase and Alzheimer's yet. The good news it that there are other things to do such as:

- Stop all starchy carbs and replace with vegetables and fruits.
- Increase fats such as fish oils
- Take 20 Curcumin 500mg capsules daily
- Vitamin E 2000iu per day
- Gingko Biloba

My shihtzu has many large non-cancerous cysts on his body. Would taking serrapeptase make them disappear and how much should I give him? Does it take a very long time for them to disappear? He weighs 16 lbs.

I had a triple bypass 5 years ago and everything seems o.k. Get a bit out of breath though. Would Serrapeptase help to get rid of the blocking in the arteries, which have been bypassed?

Like many people, you may have been misled by the medical system who indicate that the bypass is a successful operation for many people. The fact is that only a few get success. Yes it does help keep it clear and it helps keep stents (stints) clear as well. The drugs do not stop this and have side effects beyond their claimed benefits. Of course stopping the lifestyle that caused the blockages is the best course of action. You may want to consider the product BockBusterAllclear which has Serrapeptase/Nattokinase/Pycnogenol and other super nutrients.

I am primarily concerned with whatever cardio-vascular benefits might be experienced with the use of Serrapeptase. Is the evidence supporting Serrapeptase very preliminary, or is it fairly solid, that shows benefit for arterioscleroses?

You will not find any conclusive evidence of the effectiveness of Serrapeptase. The information around is simply the reports coming in from users and doctors who are witnessing the results. As it is obviously safe no one feels the need to subject it to expensive trials.

There was one report out of the millions of doses taken worldwide that claimed a Japanese persons lung infection was due to the Serrapeptase. This was illogical for a number of reasons:

1. The Serrapeptase has had studies to show that it reduces infections.

2. Studies show that it speeds up the effect of antibiotics.

3. This report was not studied nor was a scientific explanation give.

4. It could simply have been coincidence.

5. It is used as a primary treatment for lung diseases by many and a direct cause would have revealed itself in the last 30 years.

After saying all that; By taking the Curcumin which is a powerful anti viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal not to mention anti-inflammatory and stimulator of glutathione (one of the critical antioxidants for the lungs) even if their had been the slightest chance of infection then this would stop that dead.

What successes have there been with cysts and adhesions on the ovaries?

I can absolutely confirm that it will give fabulous results with 4-6 weeks. This is a common problem that it is used for. Take 3 x 3 on an empty stomach and reduce as symptom go.

There is no upper limit and taking an extra dose will help. Take them 30mins before eating as you want them to be absorbed before food gets in the way.
Have you changed your diet? I am sending my diet advice in case you do not have it. Consider the exercise I recommend for leg circulation.

I have COPD - Emphysema. I started taking Serrapeptase about a month ago because I read where it can help people with lung issues.  I have recently read that it can cause pneumonia and lung infections if you take it and have lung issues.  Can you tell me if it will hurt me or help me to take Serrapeptase.

Would Serrapeptase be useful in eliminating a goitre or uterine fibroids?

Other than this recent problem, he's had no other health challenges prior, nor does he have any now, other than the IBS. The BlockBuster should be fine. Take 3 every few hours until it goes. My daughter uses 2 x 2 SerraEzyme 80,000iu and it stops it in 24hrs. Of course she stop eating starchy carbs at that point. After a few weeks or months when she has started eating them again it come back. The moral of the story is IBS is a starchy carbs problem. No carbs, no problem.

Will this help Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Serrapeptase will remove inflammation from the digestive tract, thereby relieving the symptoms. There are, however a number of causes of IBS and for example some people benefit from hypnotherapy. Follow the plan in the Serrapeptase book for best results.

Serrapeptase truly is the "miracle enzyme."  I have been taking Serrapeptase for about eight months and just recently I tried Blockbuster.  It is also amazing.   I have two auto-immune diseases--sarcoidosis and Reynauds.  The sarcoidosis is mainly in my lungs and sinuses.  Serrapeptase has helped more than anything else with my breathing problem, but I believe there is still a virus or infection in my lungs and sinuses.  My doctors' all recommend steroids.  Can you recommend a natural antibiotic to boost the immune system and fight the virus?  Do you recommend glyconutrients, such as Glycomax?  I realize the danger of the immune system being attacked, so I would appreciate any advice you can offer.

My first intention was to treat tendonitis in my elbows and inflammation in my knees.  Then I read that it (serrapeptase) could also have benefits for people with MS so I would be taking it for that too as I suffer from that condition.  The MS is the reason why I've got the tendonitis and inflammation - I walk with two crutches which puts a lot of strain on my elbows and the knees suffer because of weak thigh muscles.

I've read about this enzyme on your website and would like to double check on the dosage suggested. My mother has type 2 diabetes and also suffers from osteoarthritis. The dosage suggested was 3 tablets 3 times a day=9 tablets - reducing the dose to 1 tablet once a day for maintenance. Are you aware of any benefits reported through use of Serrapeptase with respect to the treatment of PKD (polycystic kidney disease)?

I do not have any feedback on kidney cysts but I am sure that there will be a definite benefit as there is with PCOs and other cysts. My own sister-in-law cleared her PCOs and you have nothing to lose by trying. A couple of months should see a definite benefit.

Take 1 x 3 times per day over 3-4 months. With scarring it is best to take a photo at the start and them another 3 months later so you can compare the photos.

As it is 2 years post-op, I do not have pain. Maybe a burning sensation if the scar tissue is massaged, but that's about it. Do you still think Serrapeptase is effective as the scar tissue is this old? If so, what doses should I be taking and how often?

It really depends upon your finances. I always recommend 3 x 3 to start with and then reduce each week as the symptoms reduce. When symptoms are gone take the lowest dose 1 x 2 per day.

I have abdominal scar tissue 2 years after a lipoplasty procedure. I heard that Serrapeptase could help "dissolve" internal scar tissue. Is there any truth to this?

There are many opinions about what to take with what and what is a so called 'blood thinner'.

Firstly Aspirin is NOT a blood thinner such as Warfarin. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory as are all proteolytic enzymes. They cause the blood to flow normally, not thinner than normal by stopping the inflammation in the blood stream that causes blood clotting.

It can be safely used with children. I recommend 1-3 tablets per day for children. If they cannot swallow the tablets, they can chew the tablet as it does not have any taste. (also capsules that can be broken open and mixed with honey). In fact a sore throat can be cleared in about 30 minutes by chewing 1-2 tablets. Our grandchildren use it when they get mucus problems from colds, with fast results.

There are so many causes of elevated CRP (C-Reactive Protein the protein blood marker for inflammation) that this question cannot be answered without all these being eliminated. You can simply take the lowest dose of serrapeptase, 2-3 time per day, that will lower the CRP to a natural level and clear the causes of high CRP out of your lifestyle. Without constant blood testing for CRP the simple monitor is the symptoms of the condition you are trying to clear (EG pain, cyst, Mucus etc). The more causes you clear the lower the dose needed.

I have recently begun a supplement program, which includes 140 mg of Serrapeptase daily. This seems close to your max dosage of 150 mg for, for example, acute trauma. Is it safe to take 140 mg daily indefinitely? If not, what would you recommend as a max daily dose?

Lets talk in terms of IU International Units instead of Mg.

A tablet or capsule may be 5000IU, 10,000IU, 20,000IU or 40,000IU

There is no real upper limit other than you may get stomachache. I recommend an upper limit of 9 of the 40,000IU daily. This is only because I have not observed any better result in excess of this.

Does it thin the blood?

No it does NOT thin the blood. It makes it healthier by stopping the chronic inflammation that is the cause of our health problems. You need to read my book on Serrapeptase to get a full understanding.

A long-term maintenance dose need only be 2 or 4 @ 40,000IU daily.

I have purchased your book along with 4 bottles of the extra-strength SerraZyme capsules, but am confused about how much to take. For example, if the book recommends 3 tabs/3x per day, do I take 1 1/2 capsule/2x per day? Thanks

Sorry for the confusion but there are no hard answers. It depends upon the person, the severity of the condition and the food intake.

The best way is to take the highest dose you are comfortable with and then reduce it as the problem clears to the minimum that keeps it clear.

If the results tabulated are so beneficial to sufferers, why is this product so little known?

My 4 year son was diagnosed with SMA type 1 when he was 9 months old.  Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a gentic motor neuron disease that affects muscles throughout the body, the proximal muscles closest to the trunck of one's body - i.e. shoulder, hips, and back are usually severly affected, while voluntary muscles that are used for activities such as crawling, walking, head and neck contol, swallowing, breathing and coughing differ with each person. We did not take the Dr's advice to let him die. We took a more homeopathic route with herbs/supplements and chiropractic care.  He can not walk, talk very little, has good head control and some movement is arms and legs.  He gets everything by a G-tube. The drs decided to change his diagnosis a year and a half ago from SMA type 1 to SMA type 2 because he lived pass the age of two.  He is currently taking StemEnhance which he has been on for a year and a half now and have seen remarkable improvements. But it is getting to where we are having trouble paying for it.  He also takes mullein, fenugreek, and fennel seed for respiratory support, slippery elm and a good probiotic for digestion. When I look for new supplements I look at how they work with CF and MS because SMA syptoms are alot the same.  What would your recommended dosage be for a 41 pound, 4 yr old boy, and do you think that chlorella would help.

Hi, I was wondering - can I use this enzyme for my gastritis? I was diagnosed with that condition during endoscopy, when the biopsy of the inflamed area was also performed. That coused even bigger irritation, and I got no help after that from a dosctor. I'm trying to save myself from an ulcer in the future now and hopefully find a resolution for this inflamation(gastritis). Thank you...

I have been using serrapeptase every day for several months and it has COMPLETELY gotten rid of my neck and shoulder pain. Don’t even ask how many doctors I’ve been to see that couldn’t help me!!

Now, my 2 ½ year old daughter has severe eczema in the summer, only.  It’s red, raised, blistery and horrible!  I don’t want to use the steroids on her that regular doctors prescribe for use.  Do you think the serrapeptase might help her? How much would I use?

Eczema is a digestive problem caused by eating starchy carbs and possibly milk products. It is sometimes possible to fix it with the following supplements but if it doesn't then at least the food exclusion is a guaranteed way (albeit unpopular).

My son has Crohn’s Disease, he is 10 years old can he take these tablets and how many?

He can take any amount, as they are quite safe. I would try 3 per day to begin. He also needs to follow the recovery plan to resolve it (please refer to the Serrapeptase book).
