My shihtzu has many large non-cancerous cysts on his body. Would taking serrapeptase make them disappear and how much should I give him? Does it take a very long time for them to disappear? He weighs 16 lbs.
Answer:
Marlene, See SerraPet 80,000IU tablets at www.goodhealthusa.com Try 1 x 2 times per day 10mins before food and it should take a couple of months to see the results. How long it will finally take is not predictable.

Ankylosing Spondylitis
Question From: Holly B. CANADA
Feb 18, 2009
My son is 18 and has been diagonosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. Do you think serrapeptase will help him and if so what brand do you recommend. Thank you
Answer:
Holly, Yes it will almost certainly help him and I have had good feedback from others. There are two part to the program: 1. Nutrients as follows: SerraPlus+ Curcumin98 Eskimo Fish Oil
2. Food Plan which I am emailing directly to you. Do your best with the food and get back to me if you have questions on this.
Arterial Blockages
Question From: Karen A. UNITED KINGDOM
Feb 24, 2009
Robert,
I have arterial problems in my right leg, having looked on your web site I am a little confused as to which product would be best for my condition and what the dosage should be. I have ordered your book and serrapeptase 40000iu, but you also mention the ultimate formula could you please clarify.
Answer:
Karen That is BlockBuster. If you problem is urgent then I suggest taking both for a few weeks until you are getting good results. Please let me know how urgent it is and any other problems.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
I had a triple bypass 5 years ago and everything seems o.k. Get a bit out of breath though. Would Serrapeptase help to get rid of the blocking in the arteries, which have been bypassed?
Answer:
Like many people, you may have been misled by the medical system who indicate that the bypass is a successful operation for many people. The fact is that only a few get success. In any case it is only giving a small section of artery relief and it is not clearing the main problem. Many people still cannot easily walk uphill afterwards.
The sensible solution is to follow a plan that will clear up the whole problem and leave you healthy. This is the plan that is in my new book and which I thoroughly recommend. Serrapeptase is one of the important steps and the others highly recommended.
Cardio-Vascular Problems
Question From: Dave W. UNITED KINGDOM
Feb 24, 2009
I have read that serrapeptase is used to control calcified heart valves...I have a severly calcified aortic heart valve...do you think I would benifit from taking this product?
Answer:
Dave, Yes I get good feedback. I would suggest taking more things if an operation is threatened. Ask me if you are interested.
Take SerraEzyme 80,000iu 2 x 3 times per day 30 mins before eating. Follow the food plan to alkalize your blood and tissue. If you want to leave anything out ask me to comment.
Question From: Nancy S. UNITED STATES
Feb 15, 2009
Is 80,000 I.U.s 3 times a day a too high of dosage? I have a blockage in the carotid artery and COPD.
Answer:
Hi Nancy, That is a good amount and not too high. I take 4 per day just for anti-aging and feeling good.
It is also important that you also take: Curcumin98 and OxySorb
Your diet is just as important and will help tremenously.
Question From: Maurice S. UNITED KINGDOM
Feb 11, 2009
I have read that in Germany Serrapeptase is used to control calcium build up on replacement heart valves....would it do the same for the body's original valves if they become calcified?
Answer:
Maurice, Yes it does help keep it clear and it helps keep stents (stints) clear as well. The drugs do not stop this and have side effects beyond their claimed benefits. Of course stopping the lifestyle that caused the blockages is the best course of action. You may want to consider the product BockBusterAllclear which has Serrapeptase/Nattokinase/Pycnogenol and other super nutrients.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
I am primarily concerned with whatever cardio-vascular benefits might be experienced with the use of Serrapeptase. Is the evidence supporting Serrapeptase very preliminary, or is it fairly solid, that shows benefit for arterioscleroses?
Answer:
You will not find any conclusive evidence of the effectiveness of Serrapeptase. The information around is simply the reports coming in from users and doctors who are witnessing the results. As it is obviously safe no one feels the need to subject it to expensive trials. Serrapeptase works in the same way that aspirin works i.e. it is an anti-inflammatory. Cardiovascular diseases are in the main caused by chronic inflammation and anything that reduces this inflammation will help clear the arteries.
The benefit with Serrapeptase as well as being an anti-inflammatory is that it is also a very strong protease. This dissolves the dead proteins that bind the plaque blocking the arteries.
Clinical Use
Question:
Jan 13, 2009
Why do doctors not prescribe Serrapeptase if it is so good?
Answer:
They do, in the better medical systems such as Germany and other countries with superior results compared to the UK and the USA. They have prescribed it for the last 25 years.
Cystic Fibrosis
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Are you sure Serrapeptase is safe for cystic fibrosis?
Answer:
There was one report out of the millions of doses taken worldwide that claimed a Japanese persons lung infection was due to the Serrapeptase. This was illogical for a number of reasons:
1. The Serrapeptase has had studies to show that it reduces infections.
2. Studies show that it speeds up the effect of antibiotics.
3. This report was not studied nor was a scientific explanation give.
4. It could simply have been coincidence.
5. It is used as a primary treatment for lung diseases by many and a direct cause would have revealed itself in the last 30 years.
After saying all that; By taking the Curcumin which is a powerful anti viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal not to mention anti-inflammatory and stimulator of glutathione (one of the critical antioxidants for the lungs) even if their had been the slightest chance of infection then this would stop that dead.
Cysts and Adhesions
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
What successes have there been with cysts and adhesions on the ovaries?

Absolutely, chew tablets or open capsules and chew slowly. Do the same with probiotics preferably at the same times.
Diabetes
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Does this help with Syndrome X ? Or does this help diabetes?
Answer:
I have Doctors reporting that is does lower blood glucose levels. I cannot explain why it would do it but that is what is happening. I have just had a phone call from a diabetic who was threatened with a foot amputation, which was cancelled in only 3 weeks from taking Serrapeptase.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
My Grandad is diabetic but would like to try this product for a number of things listed. Can he take this medication with being diabetic? And what ingredients are used to make Serrapeptase please?
Answer:
Yes he can take it as a diabetic and with the drugs he is taking. The contents are just Serrapeptase enzymes. Reports for diabetes users tell of balanced blood sugars.
Diabetes: Type II
Question From: Robert Rivard
Nov 4, 2008
My diabetes specialist Doctor (Endocrinologist) has been delighted with my condition, and all blood chemistry measures have been virtually "non-diabetic". If you know the scale, my so-called A1c measure has been 6.8 The only issue not seemingly ideal to my specialist, is that my so-called "good cholesterol" number is around 36, where, with my being a type II diabetic, she would prefer to see it over 40.
I do have, have thoroughly read, and endeavor to follow, the regimen's in your excellent booklet "The 'Miracle' Enzyme is Serrapeptase The 2nd Gift from Silkworms". I had an earlier well-worn copy, first sent to me by a close friend (and Caribou and Goose hunting partner) who has been retired to the Dominican Republic. I've since passed that copy on to another of his friends in turn, who resides nearby here in Massachusetts, and then I bought my own new copy from Good Health Naturally, for my permanent reference. Your "good-word" is spreading, Robert.
Nevertheless I eagerly await, and thank you in advance, for your further dietary advice and specific exercise suggestions for leg circulation.
Lastly, would you suggest that I double my dosages of Serrapeptase (to 2 x 3) and Blockbuster (4 x3), at this point?
Very best regards,
Bob Rivard
Answer:
There is no upper limit and taking an extra dose will help. Take them 30mins before eating as you want them to be absorbed before food gets in the way. Have you changed your diet? I am sending my diet advice in case you do not have it. Consider the exercise I recommend for leg circulation.
Emphysema
Question From: Darlene A. UNITED STATES
Feb 11, 2009
I have COPD - Emphysema. I started taking Serrapeptase about a month ago because I read where it can help people with lung issues. I have recently read that it can cause pneumonia and lung infections if you take it and have lung issues. Can you tell me if it will hurt me or help me to take Serrapeptase. Thanks
Answer:
Darlene, In my opinion you are absolutely correct to take serrapeptase for this. I have feedback from many thousands and their lives are turned around with it. I do not know if you are using my recommended plan but here it is: SerraPlus+ 2 x 3 times per day 30mins before eating Curcumin98 3 x 3 as above OxySorb 6 sprays per day under tongue Also recommended MaxiFocus 6 sprays x 2 times per day Of course stopping the lifestyle that caused the problem is the best course of action and I am sending the best food plan for good health.
Fibrosis
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Wondering if Serrapeptase ever used for Peyronie's Disease (curvature of penis)?
Answer:
I have had good feedback. It works on the growth that causes it and should diminish with Serrapeptase.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Would Serrapeptase be useful in eliminating a goitre or uterine fibroids?
Answer:
I have had good reports on fibroids but none on goitre. I do believe however that they are almost the same problem that is the upsetting of the hormonal system caused by eating starchy carbohydrates. These are implicated in the majority of diseases. Taking Serrapeptase, nutritional supplements alongside a good nutritional program outlined on the web below or my book is I believe the perfect way to good health.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Question From: Christopher C. UNITED STATES
Feb 24, 2009
Dear Robert,
Recently, a very close friend of mine (50 yr.old male) was diagnosed with IBS after going through many tests to rule out anything else. Other than this recent problem, he's had no other health challenges prior, nor does he have any now, other than the IBS. I've recently purchased 4 bottles of the BlockBuster product, along with your fantastic book. I'd read about Serrapeptase and the eating guidlines in regard to IBS. Would it be beneficial for my friend to try my BlockBuster or, in his case, should he go with the SerraEzyme instead? If the BlockBuster is adequate, how many daily? If you suggest the SerraEzyme, how many of those daily?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You!
Chris
Answer:
Christopher, The BlockBuster should be fine. Take 3 every few hours until it goes. My daughter uses 2 x 2 SerraEzyme 80,000iu and it stops it in 24hrs. Of course she stop eating starchy carbs at that point. After a few weeks or months when she has started eating them again it come back. The moral of the story is IBS is a starchy carbs problem. No carbs, no problem.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Will this help Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Answer:
Serrapeptase will remove inflammation from the digestive tract, thereby relieving the symptoms. There are, however a number of causes of IBS and for example some people benefit from hypnotherapy. Follow the plan in the Serrapeptase book for best results.
Lung Problems
Question From: Hilda UNITED STATES
Feb 15, 2009
Dear Robert: Serrapeptase truly is the "miracle enzyme." I have been taking Serrapeptase for about eight months and just recently I tried Blockbuster. It is also amazing. I have two auto-immune diseases--sarcoidosis and Reynauds. The sarcoidosis is mainly in my lungs and sinuses. Serrapeptase has helped more than anything else with my breathing problem, but I believe there is still a virus or infection in my lungs and sinuses. My doctors' all recommend steroids. Can you recommend a natural antibiotic to boost the immune system and fight the virus? Do you recommend glyconutrients, such as Glycomax? I realize the danger of the immune system being attacked, so I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Please respond. Thank you.
Answer:
Dear Hilda, Good to hear of your success. The problem you have is an auto-immune problem and you also need the following to help: Curcumin98 3 x 3 times per day Moducare 1 x 3 times per day Are you following my food recovery plan? Please let me know that the infection is cleared within 2 weeks after taking these. Please email me to confirm.
Question From: Judy UNITED STATES
Feb 11, 2009
Robert, I noticed that SerraPlus is listed as the priority item for lung problems. I have some lung problems (I had hystoplasmosis - a bird virus that scarred my lungs years ago), but I am taking Blockbuster AllClear with extra MSM (by Trimetica) in addition. Do I need to switch to the SerraPlus, use both Serra Plus and the Blockbuster or what? Thanks,
Answer:
Judy, No, the BlockBuster will be fine. Are you taking the Curcumin98 as well? That is also important very.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Does Serrapeptase help with lung problems fungus?
Answer:
No, just the inflammation that may result from the fungal infection. Try colloidal silver in a nebuliser mixed 50:50 with 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Multiple Sclerosis
Question From: Maurita UNITED KINGDOM
Feb 26, 2009
Robert, My first intention was to treat tendonitis in my elbows and inflammation in my knees. Then I read that it (serrapeptase) could also have benefits for people with MS so I would be taking it for that too as I suffer from that condition. The MS is the reason why I've got the tendonitis and inflammation - I walk with two crutches which puts a lot of strain on my elbows and the knees suffer because of weak thigh muscles. Thank you,
Answer:
Maurita, Yes and the good news is that it has very good results with MS. The full plan is as follows: SerraPlus+ 2 x 3 times per day, 30mins before eating Curcumin98 2 x 3 times per day with the SerraPlus+ OxySorb 1 squirt 4 times per day MaxiFocus 6 sprays x 2 times per day
Osteoarthritis
Question From: Paril S. UNITED KINGDOM
Mar 2, 2009
Dear Sir, I've read about this enzyme on your website and would like to double check on the dosage suggested. My mother has type 2 diabetes and also suffers from osteoarthritis. The dosage suggested was 3 tablets 3 times a day=9 tablets - reducing the dose to 1 tablet once a day for maintenance. I suffer from rhinitis and was considering taking this enzyme, the dose suggested was the same as for osteoarthritis. Is this correct as other companies suggest 1 tablet per day. The other question was regarding enteric coating, is this necessary or as many sites suggest that at doses above 60,000iu a capsule with brown rice as a binder id sufficient. I'd appreciate your advice, many thanks
Answer:
Paril, The 80,000iu is better value. The enteric coating is important in my opinion. The simple fact is the more taken in the early stages the better the outcome. You can try 1 x 3 and may get the result. If you look at the list of testimonials most took a high dose. http://www.serrapeptase.info/testimonial.asp Please get back to me if you have further question.
Polycystic Kidney Disease
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Are you aware of any benefits reported through use of Serrapeptase with respect to the treatment of PKD (polycystic kidney disease)?
Answer:
I do not have any feedback on kidney cysts but I am sure that there will be a definite benefit as there is with PCOs and other cysts. My own sister-in-law cleared her PCOs and you have nothing to lose by trying. A couple of months should see a definite benefit.

Problem Foods
Question From: Jenny O. UNITED STATES
Feb 11, 2009
I have recently found out that I have some food intolerances, and I'd like to know whether previous supplements that I've bought are still OK for me to take.
These are the foods I need to avoid: gluten, wheat, yeast and dairy. These are the supplements I have: SerraPlus tablets by Good Health Naturally and SerraPlus capsules by Good Health Naturally Kind Regards,
Answer:
Jenny I firmly believe the studies that say everyone is gluten, wheat, yeast and dairy intolerant, and coincidentally, so are animals. The good news is that SerraPlus+ does not contain and gluten, wheat, yeast and dairy. I am sending you my food plan for your interest.
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
You recommend that no dairy or starch products should be consumed, but milk is very predominant in my diet, why is this a problem?
Answer:
Milk and starchy carbohydrates (starchy carbohydrates: breads, pastry, biscuits, breakfast cereals, potatoes, rice and pasta) are not good for anyone. These all contain too much glucose and mycotoxins, creating glycation and chronic inflammation) not good for any person and especially not children. Good foods are: Vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and beans especially sprouted), fish and meats. All food should be very lightly cooked or raw. Rice should be brown rice or better still sprouted rice (rice sprouts). For children, soups or blending the foods make it easier to digest.

Question From: Valerie UNITED STATES
Feb 11, 2009
Good day! I have been taking the highest recommended dose for about 3 weeks, not sure if I have had any results. My question is…for external scar reduction what dosage should I be taking long term? Thanks,
Answer:
Valerie, Take 1 x 3 times per day over 3-4 months. With scarring it is best to take a photo at the start and them another 3 months later so you can compare the photos.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
As it is 2 years post-op, I do not have pain. Maybe a burning sensation if the scar tissue is massaged, but that's about it. Do you still think Serrapeptase is effective as the scar tissue is this old? If so, what doses should I be taking and how often?
Answer:
It really depends upon your finances. I always recommend 3 x 3 to start with and then reduce each week as the symptoms reduce. When symptoms are gone take the lowest dose 1 x 2 per day.
Question From: Ralph A. UNITED STATES
Jan 14, 2009
I have abdominal scar tissue 2 years after a lipoplasty procedure. I heard that Serrapeptase could help "dissolve" internal scar tissue. Is there any truth to this?
Answer:
Yes it is a very effective and safe solution. It will take about 3 weeks to get rid of the discomfort and a further 3-6 weeks to make sure it they are completely clear.
Question:
Jan 13, 2009
I can understand internal scars (lesions and adhesions) but what about external scarring?
Answer:
It will still work on surface scarring just as it will on diabetic ulcers and the similar problems. By continually digesting the scar tissue, healthy tissue will eventually replace the old scar. It may not complete eradicate all of the scarring but the worse the scarring the better the visual benefits.
Question:
Jan 13, 2009
I wanted to know if Serrapeptase clears external scar tissue.
Answer:
Yes, but it is a slower process compared to internal scars. The scar will be flatter, but may not usually disappear completely without Rio Rosa Mosqueta Oil.
Sciatica
Question From: George Drysdale UNITED KINGDOM
Jan 15, 2009
Can Serrapeptase assist in the management of sciatica?
Answer:
George,
Some get great results and some get no results. This can be a difficult condition to diagnose and treat. I normally offer HealthPoint as the first line of treatment and serrapeptase as a parallel/secondary anti inflammatory support. My HealthPoint experience over the past 20 years has shown that electro stimulation of acupuncture is the most effective solution.
I am on high blood pressure meds. Can I use seraapeptase?
Answer:
Jean, Yes, you should see benefit for your BP as well. Take SerraEzyme 80,000iu or better still take BlockBuster AllClear which is more likely to support healthy blood pressure and inflammation relief. See these at www.GoodHealthStore.ca Tell me all of the things you are trying to achieve and I can advise further.
Question From: Judy UNITED STATES
Feb 11, 2009
Robert, I have been taking 4- 6 Blockbuster AllClear a day for several months and I do feel better. I "may" have to start a short course of Doxycycline. Can I take the two together? Thanks,
Answer:
Judy, That's OK, in fact it may help the improve the effect.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Will there be any drug interaction with my seizure medicine tegretol & lamictal?
Answer:
None whatsoever with any drug.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Is Serrapeptase safe for use when taking blood pressure medication?
Answer:
Yes, It may even help prevent the need for drugs
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Will this conflict with any drugs I am taking or cause my blood to become to thin?
Answer:
There are many opinions about what to take with what and what is a so called 'blood thinner'.
Firstly Aspirin is NOT a blood thinner such as Warfarin. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory as are all proteolytic enzymes. They cause the blood to flow normally, not thinner than normal by stopping the inflammation in the blood stream that causes blood clotting.
The prime cause of western diseases is now considered to be chronic inflammation caused by eating starchy carbohydrates, processed, micro-waved and generally overcooked foods. This is measured by the rise in C-Reactive proteins after eating such foods. When we have chronic inflammation as well as free radical damage, we get what is known as sticky blood, where the platelets stick together and can clot.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
I am on Warfarin, is it safe to take Serrapeptase?
Answer:
Yes it is perfectly safe and if you follow my cardiovascular plan you may not need the Warfarin. Healthy people do not need drugs.
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
Can it be taken with other medication and do I need to inform my Doctor?
Answer:
Yes it can be taken with any medication and may mean that you will be able to stop taking them.

Serrapeptase for Children
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
My son has Crohn's Disease, he is 10 years old can he take these tablets and how many?
Answer:
He can take any amount, as they are quite safe. I would try 3 per day to begin. He also needs to follow the recovery plan to resolve it (please refer to the Serrapeptase book).
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
If the tablets are enteric coated, does it not destroy that coating to chew the tablets - e.g. in the case of a child?
Answer:
Well spotted, nobody else has asked this question. The answer is that some will be absorbed in the mouth, some will inactivated by the stomach, some will absorb in the throat, and some will get through into the small intestine. Enough will get through to do the job and especially in a child. It has worked twice on me to get rid of a sore throat in around 30 minutes
Question From: Mike T.
Jan 8, 2009
Can Serrapeptase be used effectively with young children's (age 1 - 4 years) coughs, runny noses and mucus in the lungs and nasal passages
Answer:
Serrapeptase is very good for children.
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
What is the Clinical usage of Serrapeptase in children, with dosage precautions and other relevant clinical information?
Answer:
It can be safely used with children. I recommend 1-3 tablets per day for children. If they cannot swallow the tablets, they can chew the tablet as it does not have any taste. (also capsules that can be broken open and mixed with honey). In fact a sore throat can be cleared in about 30 minutes by chewing 1-2 tablets. Our grandchildren use it when they get mucus problems from colds, with fast results.
Serrapeptase: General Questions
Question From: Jane UNITED STATES
Aug 5, 2009
I have multiple allergies so would like to know please what the enteric is made of before I try taking a capsule/tablet.
Answer:
Jane,
Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose phthalate (HPMCP) is widely used in oral pharmaceutical products and is generally regarded as a nontoxic material, free of adverse effects. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose phthalate is generally regarded as a nonirritant and nontoxic material. The amount used on each tablet/capsule is so small it is only required to be listed as 'other ingredients' and not in the main supplement facts on the label.

Question From: Sharon S. UNITED KINGDOM
Mar 5, 2009
Can Seapeptase help women that are going through the menopause? Kind regards
Answer:
Sharon, Serrapeptase can and, in my opinion, should, be taken by everyone as inflammation is a part or all diseases and premature aging. The prime cause of disease and premature aging as well as menopausal problems is eating pro inflammatory foods that upset the hormonal system, The prime culprit is starchy carbohydrates. Take: SerraEzyme 80,000iu Curcumin98 Hemp Oil MaxiFocus
Change to the diet I recommend at www.ReallyHealthyFoods.com <http://www.ReallyHealthyFoods.com> and life will get better as you age, not worse.

Thank you
Answer:
Calvin, There are so many causes of elevated CRP (C-Reactive Protein the protein blood marker for inflammation) that this question cannot be answered without all these being eliminated. You can simply take the lowest dose of serrapeptase, 2-3 time per day, that will lower the CRP to a natural level and clear the causes of high CRP out of your lifestyle. Without constant blood testing for CRP the simple monitor is the symptoms of the condition you are trying to clear (EG pain, cyst, Mucus etc). The more causes you clear the lower the dose needed.
Question From: Alex V. CYPRUS

Do you know if the serrapeptase is effective for the scleroderma?
Do you think if I use the serrapeptase in a pure powder form (no enteric coated) with MSM and the DMSO as a carrier through the affected skin may help this condition? I am eager to try a combination of natural methods.
Answer:
Alex, It may work by taking it both orally and applied to the skin. The power in the SerraEzyme capsules is not coated and can be opened and mixed with a little msm/dmso to a paste and covered.
Choose the SerraEzyme 80,000iu caps.
I strongly recommend that you also take orally (and try a paste) Curcumin98 500mg Curcumin capsules.
Also, you should try my food plan.

Could you tell me your experience with taking this supplement sublingually as opposed to just swallowing the capsule? Is it more effective that way and have any studies been done on this alternate way of taking it? Is there side effect to watch out for?
Answer:
Lori, The best way is to swallow. Some will of course absorb if you chewed thoroughly but I only recommend this method for sore throats. There are no side effects that you need to worry about. Email if you have any and I can put your mind at rest.
Question From: V.P. - London UNITED KINGDOM

Is there a difference in your brand of Serrapeptase and other brands of there Best Serrapeptase?
Reason I say this in my local pharmacy they had Best Serrapeptase 40,000 Serratio units per veggie cap. On the Supplement Facts it reads Serrapeptase ....40,000 Units (enteric coated capsules) Then it reads Dosage : take 1 to 3 capsules
Answer:
Dear VP, There are many brands on the market. All of them have taken advantage of the publicity I have created with my web sites, book and Newsletters. None of them have a comprehensive support system for users and they do not have the same experience of many thousands of users and the feedback from them since 2002. Normally the products I have formulated are sold at the lowest cost such as the SerrraEzyme 80,000iu (per 40,000iu dose) when compared to all of the others available. I have had one brand tested that was selling less than was viable and the report came back that they had a mixture of a cheap protease mixed with the serrapeptase. I am working on a test so that I can have all of them tested and publish the results. I cannot say whether Doctors Best is 100% Serrapeptase. Doctors Best - The retail Price is $29.95 = 30cents per 40,000iu dose (less various discounts when on special) SerraEzyme 80,000iu - The retail Price is $29.95 = 15cents per 40,000iu dose (Less 25% when on special) SerraEzyme 40,000iu - The retail Price is $19.95 = 20cents per 40,000iu dose (Less 25% when on special)
Both of the above are also on special offer on various sites but the comparision stacks up that Doctors Best is around double the cost of SerraEzyme.
Question From: Mark Schumacher UNITED STATES
Jan 30, 2009
Do you own the company you recoommend for buying the products or receive compensation from them in any way? Are there other serrapeptase enzymes you would recommend or would you like to?
Answer:
Mark, I formulate and specify the serrapeptase products I recommend. They sell at the lowest possible price for the activity. I know that some that have jumped on my bandwagon are adulterating their products with cheap proteases which are very difficult to quantify. I show all of the brands on my web site:
Does Serrapeptase come in liquid form or is there a way to turn yours into a liquid? Thanks
Answer:
George,
Only by you opening the capsules and mixing the powder at the point of taking it with water added. As always, take it 30mins before eating.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
How long has Serrapeptase been in use?
Answer:
Around 25-35 years.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Where can I purchase Serrapeptase? Can it be purchased in Australia? If not can it be imported into Australia?
Answer:
It cannot be purchased directly in Australia, but can be bought on-line and imported for private use.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
My research indicates that Serrapeptase is destroyed by stomach acid and therefore needs to be enteric-coated. Do you have research that shows otherwise?
Answer:
No, I recommend enteric-coated tablets and enteric-coated granules in capsules for the best delivery.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
I have recently begun a supplement program, which includes 140 mg of Serrapeptase daily. This seems close to your max dosage of 150 mg for, for example, acute trauma. Is it safe to take 140 mg daily indefinitely? If not, what would you recommend as a max daily dose?
Answer:
Lets talk in terms of IU International Units instead of Mg.
A tablet or capsule may be 5000IU, 10,000IU, 20,000IU or 40,000IU
There is no real upper limit other than you may get stomachache. I recommend an upper limit of 9 of the 40,000IU daily. This is only because I have not observed any better result in excess of this.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Does it thin the blood?
Answer:
No it does NOT thin the blood. It makes it healthier by stopping the chronic inflammation that is the cause of our health problems. You need to read my book on Serrapeptase to get a full understanding.
A long-term maintenance dose need only be 2 or 4 @ 40,000IU daily.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
I have purchased your book along with 4 bottles of the extra-strength SerraZyme capsules, but am confused about how much to take. For example, if the book recommends 3 tabs/3x per day, do I take 1 1/2 capsule/2x per day? Thanks
Answer:
Sorry for the confusion but there are no hard answers. It depends upon the person, the severity of the condition and the food intake.
The best way is to take the highest dose you are comfortable with and then reduce it as the problem clears to the minimum that keeps it clear.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
If the results tabulated are so beneficial to sufferers, why is this product so little known?
Answer:
Serrapeptase is the best-kept secret because the drug industry does not like non-patented natural competitors to their high priced drugs. You may not know this but this enzyme is available on prescription in Germany and Austria which both have much better medical care systems compared to the UK.
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
Who makes this product?
Answer:
The enzyme, Serrapeptase, is grown in the Far East and a processor in the USA makes it into tablets and capsules
Question:
Jan 13, 2009
What is Serrapeptase?
Answer:
Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the micro-organism, Serratia E15. This enzyme is naturally present in the silkworm intestine and is processed commercially today through fermentation. This immunologically active enzyme is completely bound to the alpha 2 macroglobulin in biological fluids. Histological studies reveal powerful anti-inflammatory effects of this naturally occurring enzyme.
Question:
Jan 13, 2009
What happens to the residue?
Answer:
This is mainly converted to basic amino acids and is usefully recycled into the body. Any other residue is excreted in the usual manner.
Question:
Jan 13, 2009
Is there any reason you did not put Bromelain in this product?
Answer:
Bromelain is a cheap weak Protease. This is the reason you never see the units of activity stated on bottles.
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
What does it do?
Answer:
Serrapeptase digests (dissolves) non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts, and arterial plaque and inflammation in all forms
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
Has it any side effects or can I take too many?
Answer:
No side effects have been found in over 25 years of studies and usage. Many people take very high doses to speed-up the relief e.g. in cases of sports injuries which can be as high as 30 per day with no side effects whatsoever except a faster recovery. It is even safe for children of 2 years+ for a wide range of conditions: (asthma, lung problems, arthritis, etc).
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
Why can it benefit so many different conditions?
Answer:
Although Serrapeptase simply digests dead and inflamed tissue these two problems are the cause of the majority of symptoms in the body. The wide range of conditions that respond to Serrapeptase include:
- Varicose Veins and other circulatory problems - Pain problems such as, Arthritis, Joints, and Muscles Pains and even MS. - Lung Diseases such as Emphysema, Asthma, Bronchitis and Bronchiectasis - Sinus and other ENT problems - Post Operative Healing, Lesions and Cysts (breast, ovarian etc) - Arterial Plaque, DVT (good for travellers) and Blood Clots - Migraines (vascular). - Enlarged Prostate and many more (please see Serrapeptase book for references to the studies )
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
Can I use it for any condition, even those not listed?
Answer:
It is worth a try for practically anything. If you have great discomfort it is worth taking a high dose for one week which should give great relief.
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
You say suitable for vegetarians, yet I read that this comes from a silkworm? Does it or does it not?
Answer:
It is produced by a bacteria grown in beans that was originally noticed over 30 years ago being used by the silkworm in its cocoon to dissolve proteins. They are actually plant grown enzymes.
Question:
Jan 8, 2009
Are there any animal products within your product?
Answer:
No. They are plant grown enzymes
Sinusitis
Question:
Jan 14, 2009
How does Serrapeptase help sinusitis?
Answer:
Serrapeptase has many studies showing that it helps the sinus in two ways. The first is to stop the inflammation that stimulates the mucus and the second is to clear out the mucus completely. It usually does this within hours or at most a day or so. As it is a simple enzyme it has no side effects whatsoever.
Spinal Muscular Atrophy - Type 1 or 2
Question From: Joyce M. UNITED STATES
Feb 15, 2009
Robert,
My 4 year son was diagnosed with SMA type 1 when he was 9 months old. Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a gentic motor neuron disease that affects muscles throughout the body, the proximal muscles closest to the trunck of one's body - i.e. shoulder, hips, and back are usually severly affected, while voluntary muscles that are used for activities such as crawling, walking, head and neck contol, swallowing, breathing and coughing differ with each person. We did not take the Dr's advice to let him die. We took a more homeopathic route with herbs/supplements and chiropractic care. He can not walk, talk very little, has good head control and some movement is arms and legs. He gets everything by a G-tube. The drs decided to change his diagnosis a year and a half ago from SMA type 1 to SMA type 2 because he lived pass the age of two. He is currently taking StemEnhance which he has been on for a year and a half now and have seen remarkable improvements. But it is getting to where we are having trouble paying for it. He also takes mullein, fenugreek, and fennel seed for respiratory support, slippery elm and a good probiotic for digestion. He use to take Xango juice also. When I look for new supplements I look at how they work with CF and MS because SMA syptoms are alot the same. What would your recommended dosage be for a 41 pound, 4 yr old boy, and do you think that chlorella would help.
Answer:
Joyce, Read how Mike Tawse was helped after many years of drug treatment by doctors. www.serrapeptaseadventure.ws
The following things I believe are critical for the same sort of dramatic changes. The challenge is the cost. I get many such stories everyday and so I cannot help other than offer you big discounts. Mike Tawse is working for us at home on his computer to pay for his ongoing nutrients (and doing an amazing job).
BlockBuster - Serrapeptase Formula - stops inflammation and clears dead tissue Curcumin98 - Stimulates Glutathione and protects nerve cells D-Ribose - 5 carbon sugar for cell regeneration Glyco8Max - Glyconutrients Active Life 90 vits and Minerals liquid Liquid CoQ10
The diet is critical which includes only eating vegetables and small amount of fruits. I will send this in full details but cutting out starchy carbs is essential.

Question From: Dominika A.
Feb 15, 2009
Hi, I was wondering - can I use this enzyme for my gastritis? I was diagnosed with that condition during endoscopy, when the biopsy of the inflamed area was also performed. That coused even bigger irritation, and I got no help after that from a dosctor. I'm trying to save myself from an ulcer in the future now and hopefully find a resolution for this inflamation(gastritis). Thank you...
Answer:
Dominka, The inflammation will be caused by unhealthy bacteria fed by starchy carbohydrates. This is my plan to heal your digestive tract. Probiotic14 SerraEzyme 80,000iu Hemp Oil
You can eat something simple such as avocado 3-4 times per day for a week while you are taking the above to heal it fast. I also recommend you try my Recovery Food Plan.
Question From: Linda K. - Herndon, VA UNITED STATES
Feb 15, 2009
Hello! I have been using serrapeptase every day for several months and it has COMPLETELY gotten rid of my neck and shoulder pain. Don’t even ask how many doctors I’ve been to see that couldn’t help me!!
Now, my 2 ½ year old daughter has severe eczema in the summer, only. It’s red, raised, blistery and horrible! I don’t want to use the steroids on her that regular doctors prescribe for use. Do you think the serrapeptase might help her? How much would I use?
Answer:
Dear Linda, Eczema is a digestive problem caused by eating starchy carbs and possibly milk products. It is sometimes possible to fix it with the following supplements but if it doesn't then at least the food exclusion is a guaranteed way (albeit unpopular).
Priority: Probiotic14 Hemp Oil
Recommended: Curcumin98 Digestive150
